Nerium International is exactly that – a company that has steadily grown its international presence and mission of Making People Better since it opened in 2011. With the recent opening of business in Hong Kong, Nerium has established itself in eight countries in three continents – with more global expansion on the way!

Each market is carefully evaluated before a launch plan is created and implemented. A large amount of resources and human capital are poured into the country to assist Brand Partners and customers from day one.

“From our software development to Brand Partner marketing and training tools, we have invested time and money in preparing our business internationally,” Olson said. “This will ultimately be our greatest strength moving forward in a global market.”

The first hire in an international market is the general manager, who is responsible for overseeing operations and strategies within the country. Most have extensive experience in the direct sales industry and corporate management.

Nerium currently has a general manager in these countries:

  • Australia: Rick Arnold
  • Colombia: Adriana Sarmiento
  • Hong Kong: Eris Ching
  • Japan: Peter Dale
  • Mexico: Rafael Avendaño
  • South Korea: BJ Choi

Each general manager hires a support staff to assist with local marketing, sales, operations, finance and customer service.

Nerium also has Brand Centers in each of its international locations. The Brand Center serves as a convenient, one-stop resource for Brand Partners, with meeting space, and staff members to assist them.

Training is also given at various events around the world. Nerium hosts an annual Get Real Conference each year. The 2017 edition will take place July 20-22 in St. Louis.

On an ongoing basis, Real Results Regionals are held in each market. These events, hosted by local leaders, typically include special guests who share their experience in the business and encourage both Brand Partners who are new to Nerium and need a solid start and those who are more experienced but want to take their work to a higher level of success.

Another key to global expansion is products. Nerium International offers Canada, Mexico, Australia, South Korea and Japan customers with its line of Optimera Formula products, with its Night and Day Creams as the foundation of a 24-hour anti-aging regimen. All countries but Australia also have Firming Body Contour Cream, Optimera Formula, which works to smooth and tighten skin and diminish the appearance of cellulite and dimples.

Hong Kong uses the NeriumAD Formula for Night Cream, Day Cream and Firming Body Contour Cream. NeriumAD includes the patented, proprietary NAE-8® extract, a synergistic blend of nerium oleander and aloe vera.

Finally, Nerium lives out its mission of Making People Better through its philanthropic efforts.
