New Technology
Nerium SkinCare utilizes Nerium’s new patent-pending extraction technologyNBio-PL² ™ for its skincare products. This extraction technology incorporates pure liquid Aloe Vera (cold processed) to extract the unique Nerium oleander plant components in a way that preserves the unique and beneficial properties of both plants, without additional solvents. The results of this new technology Nerium Extract NAE-8™ has allowed Nerium SkinCare to formulate and develop the "first of its kind", age-defying night cream (NeriumAD™) cold sore/fever blister lip therapy (NeriumCS™) and skin repair cream (NeriumDerm™) for topical applications.
Safety and Clinical Testing
Testing for product safety and clinical application was initiated with Science, Toxicology & Technology, Inc. (ST&T Research). ST&T Research is comprised of a group of prominent scientist, including M.D. and Ph.D. pharmacologists/toxicologist and research product development oriented physicians, scientist, and regulatory compliance specialists which include a legal team specializing in US FDA/FTC/Customs regulations. ST&T Research provides product development, product compliance, regulatory compliance, clinical testing, and information and data for safety and efficacy. Dr. Newman who serves as a scientific advisor to Nerium SkinCare assisted by providing safety data from previous studies, experience from a FDA cancer trial at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, and the analytical analysis for the determination of oleandrin (CG) in blood plasma.

Nerium SkinCare has formulated/developed its initial new product for market launch, NeriumAD™ an age –defying treatment (Night Cream). Exclusive distribution of NeriumAD™ is provided for in partnership with Nerium International, LLC.

Anvirzel™
Anvirzel™ is an internationally patented aqueous extract of Nerium oleander composed of both polar and non-polar compounds, and containing at least five polysaccharides, two cardiac glycosides, and five proteins.
"Anvirzel™, an aqueous extract of the ornamental plant Nerium oleander, contains oleandrin as a principal cytotoxic component. Anvirzel™ has pharmacologic activities against human tumor cells. For example, in addition to its established ability to inhibit Na+, K+ -ATPase activity, this compound is known to result in induction of apoptosis, produce a sustained increase in [Ca2+], inhibit activation of NF-KB, release cytochrome C, activate caspase-dependent pathways, PARP cleavage, and produce persistent cell signal transduction events including activation of MAPK pathway, Racl, p21-activated kinase, and c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase pathways." Nerium also is transitioning from the administration of Anvirzel™ as a therapeutic agent by intramuscular injection to the development of Nerium oleander-based products that are administered orally. Nerium believes that its research has demonstrated that an effective oral route of administration for Nerium oleander-based therapeutic agents is feasible.
HIviral™ - HEP-viral™
Two additional Nerium oleander-based products, have been granted Sanitary Registers by the Health Ministry of the Republic of Honduras: HIviral for the treatment of HIV/AIDS and HEP-viral for treatment of hepatitis C. Like Anvirzel™, they are distributed through Nerium Biotechnology’s Latin American subsidiaries.
