I’ve traveled around the world, covering more than 300,000 miles in 2017 alone, to introduce to people from all walks of life the Nerium International way. It’s been incredibly rewarding to meet and speak to thousands of people who are passionate not only about Nerium’s exclusive products, but also the life-changing opportunities joining this company represents. You see, before all of this – the travel, the achievements, the awards – my goal was to create a kind of business that would take all the positive experiences people dream about (financial freedom, business success, good health, meaningful relationships, and personal development) and somehow package it to help others create the powerful results they desire and deserve in any area of their life.

Our Best Year Yet

As we’re nearing the end of the year, and reflecting on 2017, I’m thrilled of what we’ve accomplished together as a truly global company – from several successful product launches to funds raised in support of non-profit organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) and World Vision in a persistent effort to positively impact the lives of others. When you consider the power each person has to make a difference, the thought of what can happen in 2018 is magical.

Additionally, the Get Real Conference in St. Louis was…UNREAL and I can’t wait to see all of you again in Las Vegas in the new year !!! Until then, I want to share a few things I’ve learned throughout this year.

You Can Talk Things into Existence

Nerium is more than an anti-aging skincare and wellness solutions company. We’re a MINDSET. I know I’ve said this before but I can’t stress enough that the secret to success is happiness. In fact, HAPPINESS is a PRECURSOR to SUCCESS.

The one sure way you can achieve ultimate happiness is by realizing your potential and your dreams. Here’s what you do: talk things into existence by taking the time, daily or weekly, to not only share the products and the message of Nerium but to focus on personal development, giving back, and shifting your mindset. One of my favorite Chinee proverbs is, “The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.” The reality is that whatever success you want to create, whatever feats you want to achieve, and whatever dreams you want to make, you absolutely can, by starting with one simple action: talk things into existence.

You Can Change the Energy of Something – by How You Promote It

Preparation is the key to life. If you’re not prepared, the odds of success are going to be low. Whether you’re trying to lose weight, write a book, or become a million dollar earner, you must have the right tools and training to find success, especially once you’ve taken the step and committed to the core values of Nerium. Nerium provides all the tools and training you need to harness the energy you summoned after deciding to change your life and become part of the Nerium Rhythm. Your positive energy makes all the difference for people who haven’t dreamed or experienced the freedoms gained through a successful Nerium business. Sharing your excitement and energy, along with all the possibilities this opportunity brings to the forefront, can be life-changing for the people around you.

Focus on the energy you project and the hope you provide to others and work a little bit each day to achieve your goals.

Personal Action Goes a Long Way in Making a Difference

Personal development goes hand in hand with preparation. You can’t be better if you don’t tap into the Nerium Rhythm and Slight Edge principles that can drive you to success. Doing the same tasks each day can seem boring, but you have to master the mundane. Those daily tasks add up to massive successes as you build your business. And, don’t have to go it alone! Find a partner, whether that be a spouse or a friend. Hold each other accountable for what you do. Before you know it, you’ll be on the path to success.

High Touch vs. High Tech – Personal Engagement matters

We talk about all the great tools and technology available for Brand Partners to build their business, but we can’t forget the power of personal connection. In addition to using social media or emails or texts to contact the people on your list and introduce them to Nerium, you need to get out and meet people face-to-face. I’ve seen that all around the world this year when I’ve visited with Brand Partners and leaders in the many countries where we’ve opened markets or worked to make them stronger. I take great pride in meeting everyone who is a part of Nerium’s culture and mission.

Your voice, personal outreach, and commitment to your team and others around you are meaningful beyond measure. Take a few minutes out of your day to offer a personal invitation in person or by phone to the next Regional event or Real Results Party. You’ll be delighted by the response you receive when you extend a personal call to someone!

Don’t Underestimate Your Connection with People

Finally, remember that you make a great impression on someone – whether you know it or not. By committing to the Slight Edge philosophy, the path laid out for you in the Nerium Rhythm and working to become the best version of yourself, you are leaving a positive impression on everyone you meet and come into contact with – even if it’s just for a few minutes!

Commit to being in your Nerium business every day, working consistently and persistently on your goals. You’ll notice a change in how you think, how you act and how others see you. And it’s that connection between you and the people in your life that make our business and our industry work for you and your family.

The Power of One – Positive Results

Nerium Chief Leadership Officer Renee Olson has experienced an abundance of success in the direct sales industry. She is familiar with networking, building a team and getting positive results. Over the past several weeks Renee has been making personal phone calls and working closely with the field to increase activity and attendance at the Regionals. In a short amount of time, she has applied the philosophies I just talked about and has seen an incredible response. Many of you have experienced this firsthand. You have the power to achieve the same results as Renee. Don’t forget the power of one person, one voice, one dream.
