As a woman, mother, and executive, I’ve experienced similar issues other ambitious professionals are dealing with daily. Here’s one: I want to be a great parent and attend every single soccer game, school recital, and parent/teacher conference but I’m also serious about my career. I want to be successful doing both. Network marketing helps me make it all work.
Luckily, the business world is radically changing. More than ever before, stay-at-home parents are presented with opportunities to work when and where they want. Since joining Nerium, I don’t have to prioritize either kids OR career. My flexible schedule allows me to physically be where my kids need me without missing a beat in my career. In my 20s, my husband (Co-Founder and Chief Field Officer Mark Smith) and I were just another ordinary couple living ordinary lives. When we discovered a way to independently build a business around our priorities and our lifestyle, we knew that the sky was the limit!
That’s right, network marketing allows you to build a career around your life and not the other way around! This means how you spend your time, when and where you work, and how much you earn are entirely up to you. It’s a riskier decision than choosing a more traditional career path, but in the words of American astronaut Neil Armstrong, “There can be no great accomplishment without risk.”
Main Motivator for the Millennial
With a new generation comes a new way of thinking! Millennials (age 15 to 35 or so) prove this point. While Baby Boomers (age 50 and older) were complacent working for the same company until retirement, millennials have no problem picking up and moving on to a job that suits their lifestyle.
