Anvirzel™
Anvirzel™ is an internationally patented aqueous extract of Nerium oleander composed of both polar and non-polar compounds, and containing at least five polysaccharides, two cardiac glycosides, and five proteins.
"Anvirzel™, an aqueous extract of the ornamental plant Nerium oleander, contains oleandrin as a principal cytotoxic component. Anvirzel™ has pharmacologic activities against human tumor cells. Nerium also is transitioning from the administration of Anvirzel™ as a therapeutic agent by intramuscular injection to the development of Nerium oleander-based products that are administered orally.
